The Silence Wasn’t My Choice

Many of you have noticed that the show suddenly disappeared from Spotify without warning. No explanation, no notice—just gone. For over four years, Terror Tales has been a home for horror lovers, a place where chilling stories come to life. But in an instant, everything was taken away.

I’ve spent the past few weeks trying to make sense of it all, searching for answers, and figuring out what comes next. Now, I finally have an update to share. But first, I want to tell you exactly what happened.

As many of you know, Terror Tales was unexpectedly removed from Spotify without any clear explanation. Many of you have reached out, asking what happened, and I want to be as transparent as possible.

On Friday, March 14, I contacted Spotify’s creator support regarding an issue. After two and a half hours of back-and-forth conversation, the problem seemed to be resolved. I was told it would take ten days to fully process the fix. However, on Monday, March 17, I received an email stating that my account was being removed immediately and that any feed linked to my RSS would be deleted within ten days.

I strongly believe an error on the employee’s part led to my account’s removal, costing me a show I had built over 4.5 years and separating me from thousands of loyal listeners. Since then, getting in touch with anyone at Spotify has been nearly impossible. When I finally managed to speak with someone, their response was simple: It’s gone. It’s out of our hands. The matter is closed.

The uncertainty has been overwhelming. I won’t sugarcoat it—this has been one of the toughest challenges I’ve faced. But through it all, one thing has kept me going: YOU.

From friends and family to fellow podcasters (a huge thank you to John from 31 Tales of October—go check out his show!) and listeners of all ages, your support has meant everything. Your messages, encouragement, and belief in Terror Tales have reminded me why I started this in the first place. This isn’t just a podcast—it’s a community, a passion, and a place for horror lovers to come together. Knowing how much Terror Tales means to you makes it even more important to keep it alive.

I have spent countless hours searching for the best path forward, and now, I’m excited to officially announce that Terror Tales will continue—exclusively on YouTube.

The full back catalog is already available, and from now on, YouTube will be the home of every future episode. Unfortunately, the newest episodes I released in recent months won’t be available for now, and it will take time to re-record the brand-new stories I had prepared for Spotify. But I refuse to let this be the end.

One of the things I loved most about Spotify was the ability to interact with all of you—reading your comments, hearing your thoughts on each episode, and seeing how the stories impacted you. That’s exactly why I chose YouTube as the new home for Terror Tales—so we can still engage with each other on every episode. I want this to be a shared experience, where you can leave comments, discuss the stories, and continue building this amazing horror-loving community.

Episodes will premiere every other Friday at 7 PM EST. Here’s what’s coming up:

• April 4 – Under the Bed

• April 18 – Blood on the Bunny Trail

• May 2 – School’s Out Forever

• May 16 – The Lunch Lady’s Special

Due to everything that has happened, I have decided to discontinue Terror Tales Plus. From now on, every episode will be recorded for YouTube and will be completely free for everyone. After vanishing so suddenly due to Spotify’s mishap, I feel I owe it to all of you to make sure Terror Tales remains accessible to every fan, with no restrictions.

This transition will take time, but I’m committed to making it happen. If you haven’t already, please subscribe to the YouTube channel and help spread the word. Your support has carried me through this, and because of you, Terror Tales will never die.

Thank you for standing by me. Thank you for believing in Terror Tales. And most of all, thank you for proving that horror never truly fades—it only waits in the shadows, ready to return.

You can’t kill the dead!

See you on YouTube,

Mr.Cemetery

P.S. To mark this special occasion, I’ve also designed a brand-new Terror Tales shirt!

Spotish*t – The Ultimate Censorship Statement

Tired of platforms silencing creativity? Introducing Spotisht*—a grotesquely beautiful symbol of what happens when corporate control flushes great content down the drain. Featuring a disturbingly detailed, deranged pile of censorship incarnate, this little abomination is the perfect middle finger to platforms that don’t respect horror, freedom, or storytelling.

Whether you’re a die-hard Terror Tales fan or just hate when big companies try to control the narrative, Spotisht* is here to make a statement—loud, disgusting, and unfiltered.

Wear it. Share it. Let the world know: real horror doesn’t bow to the algorithm.
